Glad you made it back safe and sound--and still making your connection in Manchestor. I have some great news, I recovered the pictures from my camera, so I posted a few below. I hope you enjoyed our little excursion to Italy, despite the rain and limited time we spent there. I will have to send you a CD of the pictures. Thank you for spending 2 weeks with us!

Luxembourg

Once again I don't quite know how to get Blogger to arrange my photos the way I want, but here are some pictures from our trip to Luxembourg yesterday. We actually crossed the border into Belgium for a few minutes too, just because we could. We saw Luxembourg City, the American Military Cemetary at Ardennes, and the Valley of the Seven Castles. But I'll leave the rest of the details for Oma to tell everyone. :-)

grandma's visit

I can't quite get blogger to align these photos the way I want, but here are some pics from Oma's visit to Germany so far. We went to the animal park and to Rudesheim (downtown instead of the forest above). We'll have to add a few more in a couple days. Tuesday we are going to join one of my friends and travel to Luxembourg for the day. And in one week we make that "mystery" trip that Brad had mentioned. Happy Mother's Day, honey, wherever you are! Mother's being mysterious about a day trip she and Becca are taking via Ryan Air. My guess is Paris or Dublin.

Anyway, thought Mother would at least like to see the pretty bouquet which Elena sent for Mother's Day!
