Good talk

Lately I keep wandering over to this site for good tidbits, and today I heard a lively talk by Evelyn Glennie about listening to music with your whole body that I thought my musicophilic family might enjoy. Speaking of musicophilia, this is a great read.

Very interesting!

I remember one Christmas concert at Moody Church where a group of deaf people were seated on the organ side of the church, right up at the front. The interpreters (there were 3) worked together to interpret the Hallelujah chorus. One of the most moving experiences of my life was watching this, and seeing the deaf "listeners" stand and sign along with the interpreters... they were very much experiencing the music; it was resonating within them. It was awesome.
