Congratulations to Zachary, the newest licensed member of the family. Just in time to be able to get himself to class! Let's see if you can join the No Accidents Club... in the Davis family it is an exclusive group.
Believe it, rabbit. I have not had an accident. WHat LOT of tickets do you think I have had??? I have had a few speeding tickets ( most of which I did NOT deserve, like going 45 in between the 35 and 55 mile markers, that was ridiculous) I drive like the old woman I am. And I"ve been lucky. So there!
I have been driving (not always consistently, I'll admit) for three years and never once have a) gotten a ticket or b) been in an accident. I am the only licensed driver with no accidents.
Mom has been in several fender-benders; remember the time coming out of Milledgeville and getting clipped by a 16-year old who wasn't paying attention when there was snow on the road? And you've gotten multiple tickets, like the one going 45 in between a 35 and 55mph zone, haha.
Not trying to be a sophist, you understand, just trying to emphasize the purity of my record.
Well, philosoraptor, there is nothing like NOT DRIVING to keep the record clean!
I don't thing being slid into by that 16-year old, or hit from behind by someone who wasn't paying attention (like at boot camp graduation, and I wasn't driving them anyway) counts.
I don't have any moving violations on my record (read: important! way cool!) nor have I ever gotten a speeding ticket (only gotten one warning, and that was in Vermont doing 84 in a 65. I like Vermont cops).
Hey now WAIT A MINUTE. Those dents on the back of the van ARE NOT MINE. Perhaps they spontaneously generated as a result of sharing a van with teens. Or maybe we were the victim of parking lot hit-and-runs. BUT THEY ARE NOT MINE.
Being from California might be synonymous with having huge fines one does NOT deserve (like, going 5mph UNDER the speed limit, thank you very much) but one CAN be a good California driver.

It's so exclusive, nobody in our family is in it!
Hey, WAIT JUST ONE MINUTE. There ARE Davis family members of the club. Think a little bit harder, Mr. Smarty Pants!
Do these family members drive? haha
mom, you've never had an accident in your entire life? i find that a lil difficult to believe
Well, I remember alot of tickets:P haha. But no actual accident when mom was behind the wheel. I myself, have been in so many I've lost count:P

Since I don't drive, I don't brag about it...
Well, I certainly can't claim no-accident status, but there are some unexplained dents in the back of the van.

Uh huh.
But I thought being from California and having a clean record were mutually exclusive.

Sheesh, next time I'll take the bus.
